Building an Independent Music Brand
Project: Celestial Object
Role: Music Producer, Visual Designer, Graphic & Motion designer
Platform: Music, Visual, Live, Digital
Tools: FL Studio, Photoshop, Figma, After Effects, Notion
Celestial Object is my personal music project, an independent progressive psytrance music act where I’ve produced, designed, and released everything from scratch. The project spans original music production, motion visuals, live shows, social content, and brand identity, all crafted to form a cohesive and immersive artist experience.
As the sole creator behind Celestial Object, I’ve developed every element: writing and producing the music, designing the brand, creating all promotional content, planning releases, and performing at shows. The project functions as both an artistic expression and a live case study of full-stack creative execution.
With over 500,000 total streams, a growing listener base, and performances at major events like Distortion and Immense Festival, Celestial Object demonstrates how design and storytelling can amplify independent music, connecting sound, visuals, and audience into one unified experience.
Live Performances
A key part of the Celestial Object project is translating the sound and visual identity into real-world experiences. I’ve played several live shows across Denmark, including two consecutive years at Distortion Festival – one of Copenhagen’s largest and most influential electronic music events.

The Vision
Celestial Object is more than a music project, it’s a personal journey translated into a visual and auditory identity. The goal: build an emotionally resonant brand that spans audio, visuals, and live experiences. This became a playground to test and stretch my skills in:
- Independent music production
- Branding and identity
- UI/UX design
- Motion and visual storytelling
- Content strategy
Role & Responsibilities
Creative direction and execution across all touchpoints:
- Branding – Logo, visual identity, cover artworks
- Motion Design – Animated teasers, trailers, live visuals
- UI/UX – Design of a potential artist microsite
- Content Creation – Campaigns, release visuals, social media assets
- Music Production – Composition, mixing, mastering
- Strategic Planning – Release timelines, social rollouts, live performance branding

Independent Releases & Reach
Since launching Celestial Object, I’ve released over 12 original tracks—each fully self-produced, mixed, and branded. Every release has been paired with custom artwork, motion content, and promotional assets tailored for streaming platforms and social media.
Through consistent output and strategic content design, the project has organically grown to over 500,000+ plays across platforms including Spotify, SoundCloud, YouTube, and social media, without the support of a label or management team.
This reach is a direct result of combining strong visual identity with high-quality production and community engagement.
Album Cover Artwork
Visual storytelling has always been a core part of how I approach music, and that extends directly into the cover art for each release. I’ve designed every single album cover for Celestial Object from concept to execution ensuring each one reflects the tone, emotion, and energy of the music it represents.
The covers are not just visuals; they are entry points into the sonic world of each track. I approach them with the same design principles I apply to product work: clarity, cohesion, and intention. Whether abstract and cosmic or dark and minimal, each artwork serves a purpose within the broader brand identity.
In addition to my own releases, I’ve also been commissioned to design album covers for other artists over the years, adapting my visual style to align with their sound and audience while maintaining high quality, detail oriented output.
This ongoing work has deepened my understanding of how visual identity can elevate music and strengthen the connection between artist and listener.
