Resights is a comprehensive platform that consolidates vital information about properties, businesses, and individuals, empowering users to save time and grow their ventures. Our platform features multiple modules that allow users to discover new investment opportunities, access detailed property data across the country, and analyze any person or business’s real estate portfolio.
I was part of the company’s core team from its early growth stages, leading UI/UX design across the product and brand. My focus was on creating a scalable, user-centered platform that could support thousands of professional users handling complex data every day.
With over 1,400 satisfied customers, Resights is trusted by leading professionals, including attorneys, architects, investors, brokers, and project developers. Users can effortlessly track properties, businesses, or individuals, ensuring they stay informed about the latest news and developments in their area.
The Challenge
When I joined Resights, the company was scaling quickly, but the product and brand needed design maturity. Some of the main challenges included:
- A lack of visual identity and brand consistency across marketing and product
- A complex interface that made it hard to navigate dense property data
- No design system in place, making collaboration with developers slow and inconsistent
- Missing features for core workflows like ownership analysis and property tracking
The Solution
Over three years, I worked closely with the product and data teams to transform Resights into a modern, user-focused platform. Key initiatives included:
- Complete rebranding: new logo, color palette, typography, icon system, illustrations
- Designing and launching multiple new product modules—both independently and in close collaboration with the product team
- Building a scalable design system used across all product surfaces
- Redesigning the navigation and overall layout to improve data readability and flow
Feature Design Highlights
During my time at Resights, I designed and launched several key product modules—both independently and in close collaboration with the product team. These modules were focused on simplifying access to complex property and ownership data through clear, functional design. Some of them include the following:
- Trades Module
Developed Denmark’s most comprehensive property transaction database. Users can filter over 3.5 million records by criteria such as location, asset class, price, and yield, with access to enriched data like real ownership details, transaction volumes, and investment notes. - Property Search
A fully redesigned interface for filtering, navigating, and analyzing properties, with advanced sorting, map view, and saved search capabilities. - Person & Company Profiles
Unified profile pages showing detailed ownership data, historical timelines, and all linked assets across Denmark. - Portfolio View
A clear and interactive overview of a person or company’s real estate portfolio, including total value, segmentation by asset type, and detailed property-level insights.
